Makaila Wenezenki (they/she) has a passion for work that lies at the intersection of human and natural systems; having worked across Canada in the arts, emergency management, education, and resource management fields. They completed a Master of Community and Regional Planning - Indigenous Community Planning (2022) from the University of British Columbia and an undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Studies (2018) from the University of Victoria. Makaila finds balance by swimming outdoors, sharing meals with friends, practicing American Sign Language, and doing an endless amount of arts and crafts.
