Raj Dhaliwal is a Junior Planner with Sa̱nala Planning and is of Sikh Panjabi ancestry. Since joining Sa̱nala in late 2025, she has contributed to a range of projects involving strategic planning, engagement support, research, writing, and project coordination. Her work includes supporting What We Learned Reports and survey analysis, contributing to proposals and strategic planning processes, and assisting with communications and reporting across Nation-led planning projects. Raj holds a Masters of Community and Regional Planning in Indigenous Community Planning from the University of British Columbia and brings a background in GIS and spatial analysis.
In her free time, Raj loves to bake, fix cars, and is currently teaching herself Phulkari, a traditional embroidery stitch meaning “floral work”.
